My baby boy Smiley started preschool today. It is only 2 hours a day twice a week but it was still one of those days when you realize just how big they are getting, and how it seems like just yesterday you were holding them in your arms wishing they would go to sleep so you could get some sleep. Smiley is getting so big and grown up I just can't believe it. The preschool I take him to the teachers come out and get them from the car. He put on his backpack and hoped out of the car barely saying goodbye to us. I love him so much. When we picked him up he was so excited and I could tell he can't wait to go back.

The end of the day at Sea World
For Labor day we decided to take a quick trip to visit Wendy in Cali. We left late on Thursday spent a couple of hours in Mesquite getting some sleep then arrived mid afternoon. After some much needed rest and downtime we went swimming in the pool which the kids loved. Smiley is a bit apprehensive at first even with his life jacket on while Boo just floated in her life jacket loving every minute of it. We decided that we would visit Sea World this trip (what's a few more hours in the car) Smiley was excited to see Shamu and when he saw the little plastic ones he mentioned how Eli has those. It was a fun yet exhausting day and very crowded. But Smiley loved watching the Shamu show and seeing all the other wonderful sea creatures. Overall it was a lot of fun. Thanks Wendy and Morris for a great time. Wish we could have stayed a little longer and helped you with your move. The kids love to visit Grandma and pa despite the long car ride which they handle very well. Thanks again.

Smiley's first look at Shamu
I think he was a little surprised by how big Shamu was. But he loved watching the whales and didn't want to leave. He keeps talking about going back and seeing Shamu.

Looks like you guys had a fun trip. The little ones definitely grow up to fat, but is fun to see them learn and grow.
How fun it is to see our kids grow. But, it also makes us want to put a rock on their heads to make them stop growing.
