School Begins

Ready to walk out the door

 On the 22nd Sir started First Grade at a new school because we moved during the year last year he had to change schools.  I think we were both a little nervous and unsure about the change in schools but he is loving it and it helped that his best friend is at the same school and although they are in different grades they still get to see each other at recess throughout the day.  He loves his teacher and has made a lot of new friends.  The sun was in his eyes when we were trying to take a picture of him at the school.

 Princess started school a couple weeks later on Sept 6th.  She was so excited to be going to school but when it came to staying there without mom she wasn't too sure.  She was sad for the first little bit and was ready for me to come get her at the end of class.

So excited to be going to school

(Note from 9-24: both kids have been sick during the first month of school and have missed a couple of days I am hoping that this trend doesn't continue.)
